SUCCESS AT SCOTTISH REGION Q GUILD BBQ CHAMPIONSHIPS
At the recent Scottish Region Q Guild BBQ Championships held at the Parklands Hotel in Perth ( surprise, surprise, the sun didn't shine) some of Scotland's top butchers battled it out for the title of Scottish BBQ Champion. In the fiercely contested steak category we achieved a fantastic score of 98% and a Gold Medal for our Rib Eye Steak. In the battle for top prize our Stick Chinese Pork Ribs received a Gold Medal and went forward to a tense cook off with two of the other top products. After much deliberation by a team of experienced judges, Ramsay of Carluke were announced as Scottish BBQ Champions 2012. A great day and a great result. This is not the first time that Ramsay's have held this title as when the Championships were last held in 2010, we won Best Beef Burger, Best BBQ Burger and Best Overall BBQ Product.
