This is a tasty frugal weeknight dish from Sweden. Swedes also serve it with pickled beetroot and gherkins. Yummy!!!!!


  • Serves: 2
  • Difficulty: Easy


  • 3 Slices of Ramsays Black Pudding
  • A drizzle of Summer Harvest Rapeseed oil
  • 1 Onion or Leek peeled and chopped
  • 4 Boiled Potatoes - diced
  • A generous shake of Chilli Chutney
  • Freshly milled black pepper and a light pinch of Isle of Skye Sea Salt
  • Chopped tart orchard apples
  • 2 eggs (optional)


1. Heat oil in wok or large pan and soften onions
2. Add potatoes and sauté until golden
3. Add meat and thoroughly heat through
4. Add apple, chutney and seasonings

Serve on warmed plates topped with a poached egg (optional)
